For the shoulder, start by using the large tip all over and around the blade of the shoulder and by drawing your arm across your body, you open up the scapulae for easy access to go up and down the length of it.
By moving your arm down and behind you, this allows you to go underneath the shoulder blade.
For external rotation, use the large tip on the front of the shoulder and move your arm back and forth.
For the rotator cuff, place the large tip on top of the shoulder and raise your arm up and down while massaging the rotator cuff.
